Recently, the Parrot ANAFI UKR was used as part of Vizgard’s FortifAI demonstration in front of Allied commanders and operators during NATO Steadfast Dart 2026, facilitated by NATO DIANA.
The Vizgard team ran FortifAI on their soldier-wearable VizEdge compute unit paired with ANAFI UKR, showcasing how edge AI can operate directly at the tactical edge.
Key capabilities demonstrated:
• Autonomous interceptor evasion manoeuvres with safety guardrails
• Accurate object geolocation using offline terrain maps, enabled by the ANAFI UKR’s GNSS-denied navigation fallback
• Sub-100ms tracking of 50+ personnel and vehicles across visible and thermal feeds — maintaining continuous tracking even when operators adjust zoom
• TAK interoperability, with a built-in TAK server ingesting native ATAK Cursor-on-Target tracks and drone position
• Fully offline operation on a soldier-wearable compute unit — no cloud or internet connectivity required
This demonstrates edge AI, resilient navigation, and open interoperability working together at the tactical edge.
