How to update Parrot Sequoia+

 

There are two ways to update Parrot Sequoia+.

 

With a USB stick

To update Parrot Sequoia+ via USB you must use a micro-USB OTG cable male plug with a female USB socket and a USB stick formatted to FAT32

 

  • Connect your USB stick to a computer and make sure that it contains no files in .plf format.

  • Download the update file available in .plf format.

  • Copy the file to the root directory on your USB stick without putting it in a folder or renaming it.

  • Connect your micro-USB OTG cable to the USB host port of the multispectral sensor.

  • Connect the USB stick containing the update file to the other end of the cable.

  • Switch on Parrot Sequoia+.

It updates automatically. During the update, the multispectral sensor light flashes orange. Once the update is complete, the light turns green.

 

Via an SD Card

Before you begin, make sure that the multispectral sensor is connected to the sunshine sensor.

 

  • Connect your FAT32 SD card to a computer and make sure that it does not contain any files in .plf format.

  • Download the update file available in .plf format.

  • Copy the file to the root directory on your SD card without putting it in a folder or renaming it.

  • Insert the SD card in the sunshine sensor.

  • Switch on Parrot Sequoia+.

It updates automatically. During the update, the multispectral sensor light flashes orange. Once the update is complete, the light turns green.
