Some missions require more than just a normal take-off

Fort Boyard located of the west coast of France, built in the 1800’s under Napoleon as a fortification arsenal & garrison island, this historic fort is stadium shaped 68m long, 31m wide with walls of 20m height, 2km’s from shore, later going on to feature in many TV & Films.

When asked to do an Inspection & 3D Mapping of the Fort as the aerial drone expert of the region, Anthony Louis, founder of Drone Aquitaine, was delighted.

However, it was soon realised that the Fort being only accessible by boat would be a challenge to manage a UAV mission, specifically how to take-off and land.

With the hand-launching and hand-landing options offered by the ANAFI Ai, Anthony found the solution and completed the mission simply & perfectly.
