Rescuing endangered sea turtles with Anafi USA

With Parrot ANAFI USA crews from the Lone Star UAS Center of Excellence and Innovation at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi conduct search operations for cold-stunned sea turtles. In partnership with the Texas State Aquarium and Texas Parks & Wildlife Department, and monitored by the National Park Service, the Lone Star UAS crew used their ANAFI USA and advanced monitoring technologies to search for turtles impacted by our recent temperature drop in areas hard-to-reach by boat. This great initiative aims to bridge research gaps, unite experts, and secure resources for sea turtle conservation in Texas and the Gulf of Mexico.
