Taking photos - Mambo FPV

Parrot MAMBO FPV's most important accessory is probably the Wi-Fi camera module. Designed to be clipped on the back of Parrot Mambo like a piece of Lego, this camera has all the attributes to immortalize your flights in pictures and take videos.



 

How to take photos with your smartphone

 

During the flight, press the common_icn_photo.png button to take photos with Parrot Mambo's FPV camera. The photo is saved in the internal memory of the MiniDrone.

 

 

 

How to take photos with Parrot Flypad

 

Push the R1 button to take a photo with the MiniDrone's FPV camera.

 

The memory of the MiniDrone can store several hundred photos. However, once the memory is full, you will not be able to take any more photos.

 

 

How to take photos with the vertical camera

 

To take pictures with the vertical camera, you must disable the FPV camera by removing it from its base.

 

 

How to connect the video to Parrot Mambo FPV

 

To connect the video to Parrot Mambo FPV, start by connecting the camera to your drone. Then, open FreeFlight Mini on the smartphone and connect the app to the drone.

 

> On iOS: the app prompts you to enable the Wi-Fi to connect the smartphone to Parrot Mambo FPV. The format of the name of the Wi-Fi network is: MAMBO_XXXX.

> On Android, the app will be able to locate and connect to Parrot Mambo FPV. A pop-up window may appear to confirm the connection to the camera's Wi-Fi network. Otherwise, manually connect the smartphone to the camera's Wi-Fi network.

 

The video appears on the FreeFlight Mini app home page.

> To record the Parrot Mambo FPV video, insert a micro-SD memory card into the connector on the back of the camera before installing it in Parrot Mambo FPV.

> The recorded videos are in 720p HD format.
