To update your MKi9200 WITHOUT using the Parrot software update tool (i.e. Apple Macintosh)

 
    1. Plug your empty USB stick into your Computer
    2. Create a new folder in the root of your USB drive.

    3. Rename this folder as "ParrotUp"
    4. Click here for the USA (English) version or Here for Mexican (Spanish) version
    5. A window will open; click the option to SAVE the file.
    6. Re-name the file MKi9200.plf and save it to the folder you created in step 3.

    7. Remove your USB stick and power up your MKi.
    8. Turn the jog wheel on the MKi to select SETTINGS, then select ADVANCED SETTINGS,             and then select UPDATE.

   9. Insert your USB stick into the MKi USB slot.
  10. The kit will reset after the update is finished.  Wait until back at the main screen to displays  “updates successfully" to remove the USB stick.

  11. Verify the update by checking your software version, SETTINGS, ADVANCED SETTINGS, and INFORMATION.
