    To update your MKi 9000 WITHOUT using the Parrot software update tool (i.e. Apple Macintosh)

    1. Plug your empty USB stick into your Computer.

    2. Create a new folder in the root of your USB drive.

    3. Rename this folder as "ParrotUp"

    4. Click here for the USA (English) version or Here for Mexican (Spanish) version

    5. A window will open; click the option to SAVE the file.

    6. Re-Name the file MKi9000.plf and save it to the folder you created in step 1.

    7. Remove your USB stick and power up your MKi9000

    8. Turn the jog wheel until the kit announces SETTINGS, then press the GREEN BUTTON select it and turn the wheel unit the kit announces UPDATE PROCESS the press the GREEN BUTTON to select that option.  The kit will now announce WAITING FOR UPDATE.

    9. When the kit has completed the update it will reset and announce UPDATE SUCESSFUL.

    10. Pair a phone up with the device to verify the software version.  It will list this version in the name of the device when searching for it via Bluetooth.
