Parrot's core competence stems from a long standing policy of investment in chipsets design, which provides the best platforms for its specialized software. Parrot works in close collaboration with chip manufacturers and founders ATMEL, STMicroelectronics and components supplier Infineon.
Acoustic algorithms developed by Parrot s engineers to perform voice recognition, echo cancellation and noise reduction, are highly adapted to the automobile environment, from the component level and up.
Parrot is one of the few companies to develop the Bluetooth® wireless technology stack, rather than rely on third party code. This independence ensures better maintainability of products throughout their life cycle.
Parrot is a Golden Associate Member of the Bluetooth Special Interest Group and is active in the Car Working Group.
