Parrot RKi8400

 

 

 

The Parrot RKi8400 software update can be performed using a USB flash drive.

 
Downloading the update file
  1. Plug the USB drive into your PC.
  2. Create a new folder in the root of your USB drive.
  3. Rename this folder as ParrotUp.
  4. Click here to download the update file and save the downloaded file in
    the ParrotUp folder.
  5. Rename the downloaded file as RKi8400.plf.
    > You should now have in the root of your USB flash drive:
    F:/ParrotUp/RKi8400.plf.
    > You can now get in your vehicle to install the update file.
 
Installing the update file
  1. Plug your USB flash drive into the USB connector.
  2. Start your Parrot RKi8400 and select Settings > Advanced settings >
    Update.
    >The "Starting update"message is displayed.
  3. Wait until the Parrot RKi8400 reboots.
  4. The update file installation starts automatically. Wait for approximately 4 minutes.
    >To make sure the software update is correctly installed, select Settings > Advanced settings > Information.
