CK3000 Evolution Handsfree

Thank you for purchasing CK3000 Evolution, an universal handsfree car kit using the Bluetooth® wireless technology.

-> Get yours hands on the best technology in terms of onboard telephony

Parrot's development teams have drawn on their expertise in Bluetooth technology, voice recognition and sound processing to streamline the operation of the CK3000 Evolution in order to guarantee clear and smooth conversations, despite the noise particularly inherent in driving.

-> Make calls with the greatest of ease via voice recognition and the browser button

When users get in their car, they start the engine and the kit immediately conects to their mobile phone. Thanks to the voice recognition feature, drivers say a name and the kit automatically dials the number. Keep your hands on the wheel and guarantee your safety. By intuitively turning the browser button, the kit states the menu functions, meaning that the drivers can check and manage their voicemail, etc.

-> Design and audio quality: choose a kit that integrates seamslessly into the car

The CK3000 Evolution is fitted in the car by a professional in less than one hour. It features a discreet and extremely sober design and fits seamlessly inside the car.
In the event of a call, the car radio automatically cuts outs, so that the speakers can transmit the conversation, and the microphone clearly reproduces the sound of your voice.

-> Take advantage of the universal Bluetooth solution

The CK3000 Evolution is compatible with all Bluetooth mobile phones on the market. Nevertheless, the supported features depends on your phone.

Getting Started

CK3000 Evolution allows remote and handsfree operation of a variety of mobile phones from major manufacturers - Nokia, Motorola, Sony Ericsson, Siemens - that all share the same Bluetooth® technology. The only requirement is for your Bluetooth® wireless technology-enabled phone to support an audio profile - HEADSET or HANDSFREE -, in order to open an audio channel with your handsfree system.

CK3000 Evolution features

CK3000 Evolution runs a handsfree application software providing additional phone-dependent features, which add to features supplied by the standard implementation of Bluetooth® wireless technology.

Standard features

A set of features that are built inside the Bluetooth® wireless technology protocol. Your phone can use either a headset or handsfree Bluetooth® wireless technology profile to communicate with CK3000 Evolution. The handsfree profile is a much richer profile for the car kit application, supporting more features.

Advanced features

A set of features that are dependent on your phone model, its firmware version, and the CK3000 Evolution software version. Refer to the topics included in the Bluetooth® Phones section to see which are available with you phone.

About Bluetooth

Bluetooth® is a standardized wireless transmission technology allowing information exchange between devices accordingly to their profiles. A profile determines each device's capabilities and how it can interact with others. Bluetooth® phones for instance usually offer audio and file transfer profiles in order to open audio channels to headsets and handsfree devices, or to provide internet connectivity to a computer using a GPRS network.

Bluetooth® wireless technology uses short-range radio links in the 2.4 GHz free band. The technology enables equipments to interact within a radius of about ten meters, using very little energy.

User intervention is kept at a minimum. After initial pairing, Bluetooth® wireless technology connections are automatically established whenever devices are introduced into the network's realm.

One of the stated objectives of the Bluetooth® Consortium of manufacturers is for the standard to become as ubiquitous as the infrared port technology, with superior bandwidth, better range and smarter built-in networking features.
