Specific Pairing Procedure for CK3500
This specific pairing procedure is only available for Bluetooth phones supporting the Bluetooth SIM Access Profile, used with a CK3500 carkit.

There are two differents possibilities to pair with the CK3500:
The search is launched from the phone:
First of all, you have to activate a special mode.
From the display of the CK3500, navigate to "Settings".
Then, scroll down to "Advanced Settings".
Then, select "Pair with phone...".
Scroll down until "SIM Access Phone", a 16 digits key will be displayed on the display.
Then from your phone, search for Bluetooth devices (refer to the
Bluetooth Phones
tab).
Select the CK3500, and enter the 16 digits key on your phone.
The CK3500 synchronises some datas (phonebook...), disconnected/connected will be displayed, but it is normal.
After that, the CK3500 will ask for the phone's SIM PIN code.
To enter this PIN on the CK3500, press the rotator knob, and select the corresponding digits.
Validate by pressing the green button.
Now, the CK3500 is registered on the GSM network, instead of the phone.
On the phone's display, "Remote SIM Mode" will be displayed.
Now, the battery level of the phone is not displayed anymore.
The external antenna is now used (better network coverage).
The search is launched from the CK35OO:
First of all, Bluetooth have to be activate on your phone (refer to your phone's documentation or
Bluetooth phone
).
From the CK3500, navigate to the "SIM Card" menu.
Select the "Pair with phone..." menu.
Then, "Search for devices..." is displayed. Wait for the end of the search.
Your Bluetooth phone's name will be displayed on the screen, select it by pushing the rotator knob.
A 16 digits key is displayed. On your phone, accept the connection request, and enter the same Bluetooth PIN code.
The CK3500 synchronises some datas (phonebook...).
After that, the CK3500 will ask for the phone's SIM PIN code.
To enter this PIN on the CK3500, press the rotator knob, and select the corresponding digits.
Validate by pressing the green button.
Now, the CK3500 is registered on the GSM network, instead of the phone.
On the phone's display, "Remote SIM Mode" will be displayed.
Now, the battery level of the phone is not displayed anymore.
