Topic: Mute in a Mazda3 2004 non-amplified

I'm about to install my mki9100 in my mazda using an HF--MZD-TH2 Harness from hfvt.com and was curious if anyone else had done this. My question is the Muting capabilities. Looking at the harness, there is no lead from the stereo that would connect with the Mute 1,2,or 3. So I am curious what happens when a call comes in?

Do you have to talk over the radio?
Can you mute from the steering wheel and still talk on the phone?

Just wondering.
