Topic: iPhone 3.0 stereo bluetooth is choppy

I just bought an iPhone 3GS and am using it with my MK6100 (1.03a).  I had to update the software from 1.03 because calls were garbled but that is better now.  However, stereo bluetooth audio is choppy - it frequently cuts in and out and sounds like the music is skipping.  I do not have this problem with my old phone (Nokia E71) nor do I have it when pairing my iPhone with a stereo bluetooth headset (Jabra BT620s).  I have tried un-pairing and re-pairing with no luck.  This doesn't seem to be affected by how far the iPhone is from the receiver, so I don't think it's a reception issue.

I'm having the same issue as well with my 3GS.  Hopefully Parrot is working on another update for the 6100 and the iPhone OS 3.0.

I just got this e-mail from Parrot support:

We have passed the information on to the engineering team to have them look at it and see if they can find out a fix.  We will keep your ticket open and let you know when we come up with a solution.

I had previously received an e-mail stating that the product was discontinued and I should buy a newer one if I want support, but it seems they have reconsidered.

I sent them an email as well.  Hopefully they come up with something but from the sound of it I'm not going to get my hopes up.  I just hate to have to buy a whole other kit when the one I have works perfectly fine except for the Bluetooth audio issue.

I've been trying to get in touch with them to get an update, and just got an e-mail back yesterday (finally) again stating that they've discontinued the MK6100 and suggest updating to a newer version.  This is ridiculous!  I'm passing this story on to all of the consumer advocacy blogs.  Let's make Parrot do the right thing and SUPPORT THEIR PRODUCTS!
