This looks like a great kit. I’m very interested in purchasing one. However, I can’t find any information on the Parrot website as to when this product will be available. I did find an online store that claimed October 5th, 2008. But I would appreciate some confirmation from Parrot.

Thanks for the link to the manual. Now how about a link to an availability date?

    Regards,

I recently bought a Parrot SK4000 for motorcycle.
First the dealer sold me a demo for the full price which he later admitted and replaced with new one. The seal on the box was broken, so I hope it was really new!
    Comments on the product.
Very good quality sound even at high speed (140kmh).
Very poor radio. It keeps on saying 98.3 with no reception even in city area.
The screw that fix the clamp on helmet is of poor quality - it got stripped with the first attempt to fasten - this really needs improvement.

This product is near perfect. One big miss however, no intercom function. This is too bad. Idf parrot could enable it, I buy a second set right away and I know that I am not the only one to say that. Please Mr Parrot, let’s have a soft upgrade with intercom function very soon.

If one rides solo, one has no need for intercom. Ergo, definitely not “too bad”. Not everyone is forced to ride with a passenger (and thank God for that).

Not all in-helmet intercom systems are for rider-passenger communications. Some are for riding groups and they need longer range. Of course, you could arrange a conference call and get some approximation of the feature. ;)
